Average revenue per night

Average revenue per night is calculated by dividing your reservation payout by the number of booked nights. If you have more than one booking for a night, the average revenue per night is the sum of nightly averages.

For example: If you have a 3 day booking with the total payout of $150 then the average revenue per night for this reservation would be $50.

If you have more than one booking for the same dates, the average is calculated by taking into account all the bookings for the night.

For example:

If you have If you have a 3 day booking with the total payout of $150 then the average revenue per night for this reservation would be $50.

If you have a second 3 day booking at a different listing for the same dates with the total payout of $120 then the average revenue per night for this reservation would be $40.

In this case the average revenue per night for each individual date within these 3 days would be 50+40=$90

Average revenue per reservation

Average revenue per reservation reflects the pooled average nightly price for all the bookings that you have for that day.

For example: in the above example that includes two bookings the average revenue per reservation would be (50+40)/2= $45

This means that the average nightly prices for each individual booking are summed up and divided with the number of bookings to reflect the average revenue per reservation.

Average revenue per guest

Average revenue per guest is calculated the same way as the average revenue per night but in addition it takes into account the number of guests. This means that if in the above examples both of the reservations were made for two guests, the average revenue per night should be divided by two.
