Rarely, you may experience a login issue with HomeAway/VRBO. In this situation, your HomeAway account may appear on your connected accounts page as in a pending state, without any further action to complete.
This is due to several possible reasons. For example:
- You have changed your HomeAway account email address recently.
- HomeAway itself experiences an authentication error.
Once you have ensured that you have entered the correct HomeAway account credentials using the connected accounts menu, if you still see the 'Pending' icon, it's time to draw on the silver bullet: The HomeAway VRBO Owner App.
To resolve the issue, simply log in to the mobile app. If you do not yet have the mobile app, you may download it for iOS or Android. Connecting to this mobile app forces HomeAway to refresh your authentication.
