Custom codes are an easy way to automatically adapt your message, but we've made things even easier for you by allowing you to have multiple custom codes with the same name.

This functionality minimizes the number of custom codes you need to manage, allowing you to create different custom codes of the same name for different properties.

For example, let's say you want to reference your properties by their nickname.

  • You can create a separate custom code for each of your properties with the same name, nickname.
  • You can, then, reference all these custom codes within your Guest Experience rules by just including %%nickname%% within the text area of those rules.

Each of your custom codes with the same name can have a different set of properties selected under your Properties "scope", without overlap or conflicts.
